Senator John Scott Jr. served the citizens of Senate District 19 for several years and responded to the needs of our community with integrity, dignity, and wisdom. His leadership will be greatly missed.

On October 24 we will have the opportunity to elect a “NEW” Senator to continue the legacy of excellence previously led by Senator Scott to the citizens of Senate District 19. Currently there are 7 individuals seeking the seat.

There are issues and concerns which are relevant to the citizens of Senate District 19. On Thursday September 21 a community meeting will be held at Word of God Church and Ministries 119 Diamond Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and we will start promptly @ 6:30 pm. The candidates seeking the office will be in attendance.
